Storefront Galleries are art exhibits placed within vacant commercial properties in downtown Provo. The Storefront Galleries Program provides artists with exhibit space in the windows of vacant commercial properties. Art is placed in the windows on pedestals and easels; the doors are then locked and the art is viewed from the sidewalk.
The purpose of the program is to generate pedestrian traffic, further enliven the downtown, and provide opportunities for artists to show and sell their work (and to bulk up their resumes.)
